Nursery Care
Located on the bottom floor, Room 7
We continue to offer quality nursery care at Good Shepherd for children birth to 3 years
old. Jackie Williams and Rosita Brewster are our Nursery Care Providers and are well
qualified to care for your child on Sunday mornings. When dropping your child off on
Sunday morning, please be sure to leave your name.

Sunday School for Children (3 years old – 6th grade)
Children of all ages are welcome to join us at Good Shepherd for Sunday School, each
Sunday at 10:15am. PLEASE be sure to register your child/children for Sunday School.
Registration ONLY helps us with recordkeeping and space allocation – it is not required
for your child to attend Sunday School, just a big help to the staff! Here’s a listing of
ages/grades and where they will be located during the school year:

3-5 years old Room 12 (Lower Level)
1st – 2nd grade Room 8 (Lower Level)
3rd – 4th grades Room 10 (Lower Level)
Club 56 (5th – 6th grades) Room 14 (Upper Level)

Youth Ministry at Good Shepherd (7th – 12th grades)
If your child is in 7th grade or above, we want you to know what’s going on at
Good Shepherd. Youth in grades 7 & 8 will be members of our Rite-13 class, which
is starting its second year. Youth in grades 9 & 10 will be members of
our Journey to Adulthood class, which also starts it’s second year. Each of these
groups meets on Sunday mornings at 10:15am.Youth in grades 11-12 are members of
YAC: Young Adults in the Church. This self-led group meets once a month. Next year
we will be starting a new Rite 13 group which will consist of youth in grades 6 & 7 for
the 2010-2011 school year.

Acolytes
Contact: Stefanie Rose
Acolytes are young persons who carry the cross and torches during the processions in
the 9AM and 11AM church services, and assist the clergy at the altar. Youth may serve
beginning in 4th grade.

Christian Formation for All Ages Begins in September

Sunday School for children is available for children 3 years old and older. Classes for 3
years old through 6th grade are labeled with ages or grade names. If your child is
entering 7th or 8th grades in the Fall of 2010, he/she will be part of our Rite-13 group.
Youth entering 9th or 10th grades in the Fall of 2010 will be members of our Journey to
Adulthood group.
